According to him, in the weeks before the presidential election in July of 2006, he “led” the polls with as much as 10 percentage points over Calderón. It was true, had it been in January or February. All known polls showed him leading by at least 10 points. The lead would however diminish in the following months, to show a technical “draw” the week before the elections. AMLO would still maintain that he was leading, and that all other polls were biased. Covarrubias – the company hired by AMLO and PRD to make their polls, has recently released information that is consistent with the other polls made during that period. They only published the polls of Jan-March, and didn’t publish anymore out of “respect” for their client – PRD. So, according to AMLO’s “own” polls, he was leading coming into election week. Pure bullshit. As always.
This information shows – once again – the manipulative brain of mr AMLO.
