Just read a great book by Richard Dawkins called “The God Delusion”. It is basically a book that explains why there can’t be a god. Dawkins is a biologist that believes more in Charles Darwin’s evolutionistic discourse than any religious discourse.
He writes in a pretty funny way (he was friends with Douglas Adams, of Hitchhiker’s Guide-fame) and is actually extremely good at convincing one of god’s non-existence. I recommend it dearly to anyone wanting to take a good, critical look at the way we blindly look at supernatural babble and think it is true. I think I wanted to believe in something before reading this book. Now, common sense tells me I shouldn’t believe in anything supernatural. In some strange way, I kind of feel it has made me more conscious and (perhaps?) a better person. Please read it!
