He said he thinks it’s ok for the Mexican legislators that voted to legalize abortions in Mexico City, to be excommunicated.
Excommunicated, you might ask… what is that? According to [WIKIPEDIA], excommunication means “a religious censure used to deprive or suspend membership in a religious community.”
OK, so someone who voted for women’s right to choose, should not be able to be member of the illustrious catholic community? Cool. Sign me up. Do they excommunicate the priests that sodomize and rape small boys? No. Of course not. A slap on the wrist whenever that happens, and a transfer to another community.�In addition, it is the RIGHT of the priests to decide what women should (or shouldn’t) do with their bodies. Since they already decided that women stand lower than men (they can’t be priests in catholic countries), they also mean that women are too stupid to make decisions of their own.
