A few days ago, in the state of Veracruz, left wing politician Celestino Rivera Hernandez was caught in the act of sodomizing and raping a 12 year old boy that he had picked up on the street. Celestino is a “respected” pillar of his community, but he had done this before. No less than 5 [...]

Catholic Order Jolted by Reports That Its Founder Led a Double Life

Posted By Per-Otto Lekare on February 5th, 2009

The Legionaries of Christ, an influential Roman Catholic religious order, have been shaken by new revelations that their founder, who died a year ago, had an affair with a woman and fathered a daughter just as he and his thriving conservative order were winning the acclaim of Pope John Paul II.

The Rev. Marcial Maciel Degollado in October 2001.

Before his death, the founder, the Rev. Marcial Maciel Degollado, had been forced to leave public ministry by Pope Benedict XVI because of accusations from more than a dozen men who said he had sexually abused them when they were students.

But most members of the Legion continued to defend Father Maciel, asserting that the accusations had not been proved. Father Maciel died in January 2008 at the age of 87, and was buried in Mexico, where he was born.

Now the order’s general director, the Rev. Álvaro Corcuera, is quietly visiting its religious communities and seminaries in the United States and informing members that their founder led a double life, current and former Legionaries said.

The order is not publicly confirming the details of the scandal.

Jim Fair, a spokesman for the Legionaries, said only: “We have learned some things about our founder’s life that are surprising and difficult for us to understand. We can confirm that there are some aspects of his life that were not appropriate for a Catholic priest.”

Some former members said they expected the order to renounce its founder, but Mr. Fair said: “He is the founder and he always will be the founder of the order. That’s one of the mysteries that we all see in life is that sometimes good things come out of less than perfect human beings.”

In Catholic religious orders, members are taught to identify with the spirituality and values of the founder. That was taken to an extreme in the Legionaries, said the Rev. Stephen Fichter, a priest in New Jersey who left the order after 14 years.

“Father Maciel was this mythical hero who was put on a pedestal and had all the answers,” Father Fichter said. “When you become a Legionarie, you have to read every letter Father Maciel ever wrote, like 15 or 16 volumes. To hear he’s been having this double life on the side, I just don’t see how they’re going to continue.”

Father Fichter, once the chief financial officer for the order, said he informed the Vatican three years ago that every time Father Maciel left Rome, “I always had to give him $10,000 in cash — $5,000 in American dollars and $5,000 in the currency of wherever he was going.”

Father Fichter added: “As Legionaries, we were taught a very strict poverty; if I went out of town and bought a Bic pen and a chocolate bar, I would have to turn in the receipts. And yet for Father Maciel there was never any accounting. It was always cash, never any paper trail. And because he was this incredible hero to us, we never even questioned it for a second.”

Mr. Fair said he had no comment about whether Father Maciel had misappropriated money, fathered a child or sexually abused young men.

The Legionaries, founded in 1941, have grown as the church in many countries has shrunk. It has 800 priests in 22 countries, and 70,000 members worldwide, many of whom are lay people in its affiliate, Regnum Christi.

Tom Hoopes, managing editor of The National Catholic Register, which is affiliated with the Legionaries, posted an apology on the Web on Tuesday for having dismissed the sexual abuse accusations, saying, “I’m sorry to the victims, who were victims twice.”

Anyone surprised? Again? When will people burn down the churches, take back all the riches stolen from the people and distribute these riches to the poorest people (which also made the biggest contributions)???

Does the NAZI Pope wear a funny hat?

Posted By Per-Otto Lekare on February 3rd, 2009

He sure does… just strange that the ex-Hitler Jugend choir boy made God’s stand-in on Earth doesn’t wear a hat with the SS or a Swastika. He is just revolting and disgusting. You could see that in his eyes… Is he (like most other Catholic priests) a pedophile also? He might just like arian boys, though. South American, Asian, and South European boys need not apply.

Racism in Mexico

guillermo-ochoa-01-ggA day ago, one of the best goalkeepers (soccer) in Mexico, Guillermo Ochoa, was dismayed by Sven-Göran Eriksson’s choice of including 4 players not born in Mexico (but naturalized) in the squad that is going to play against the US and Sweden in a weeks time.

Ochoa said something like this “I would not like to have 11 naturalized players in the team”. Too bad for him. SGE’s job is to win with the Mexican team, and he has to choose the best available players. If they aren’t born in Mexico – tough luck. This shows just once again that the Mexican players are divas that want to be treated like superstars, when they only manage to do a mediocre job at best. SGE should give a chance to all naturalized players that want to wear the Mexican shirt, not to divas that feel threatened.

I had the opportunity to talk with Tord Grip, SGE’s right hand, a few months ago. And he told me that Ochoa is not ever going to be the first choice as a goalkeeper. He is too much of  a showman and to little of a player. As was said about other players wanting to enter the Mexican squad. ‘Nough said…  Exclude Ochoa and give place to another naturalized player!

Update: Ochoa was beaten to Sweden’s only goal in the game between Sweden and Mexico. His showoff-style was the main cause.

AMLO at it again…

Not quite the elect president... but he would love to be that :)

Mexico’s legally elected president, Felipe Calderón, flew to Washington to meet with predident-elect Obama. This caused the deranged and, frankly, sick Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, to send a letter to Barack Obama.

The letter said something along these lines: “Next Monday you will meet with Felipe Calderón, who claims to be Mexico’s President. This citizen has this post due to a huge electoral scam, made possible by corrupt politicians and lobbyists. In our country, there is an apparent republic: false and simulated. There are consitutional powers, but a group has confiscated these powers… that is a fact. This kind of veiled dictatorship hasn’t only erased the democratic lives of everyone. It has also caused an incredible inequality – both social and economic.”

He also said that the solution to the immigration problems that the US faces is not found in the Mexican Constitution, nor in the US Constitution. Not in the walls being erected nor the adding of more soldiers to the border. It is found in the economic and social development in Mexico.

In the letter consisting of two pages, AMLO concludes that: “it would be a great mistake for your future government to disallow the migratory flow between our countries. I think you will have the virtue and the luck to answer to the great hopes that you have awakened in your country and in ours”, this guy said…

Whaaaat? AMLO is completely and utterly crazy…. I’ve said it before and I will say it again… I actually feel a little bit sorry about him, since he seems to be so lost in his idea that he won that election. He didn’t. He sent a letter complaining about the 2006 elections to Barack Obama… Who was doing what in 2006?  He was a Senator for the state of Illinois. Mexico´s elections happened here, not in the US. If Mexico isn’t able to keep clean elections – why complain elsewhere about the results without working to reform the electoral process? It actually shows that AMLO himself and his party PRD are to blame… their own internal elections took 8 months to conclude, due to fraud.

AMLO is plain and simply: CRAZY
