A few days ago, in the state of Veracruz, left wing politician Celestino Rivera Hernandez was caught in the act of sodomizing and raping a 12 year old boy that he had picked up on the street. Celestino is a “respected” pillar of his community, but he had done this before. No less than 5 [...]

Life goes on…

…you can read about the proved (by Swedish Law) illegal harassing of me and my family further down on this page or by clicking on the Cyberharassing button above… won’t post anything more about this matter unless necessary. People like this lonely, sad, awful, despicable and insane person don’t need to be fed to continue their insane rants. Law enforcement is taking action into this matter at the moment and I know they will do their job.

On another note, I just read that, according to the AARP,  86% of all hispanics in the US believe in miracles, angels and “divine cures”… In addition, 56% claim they have witnessed a miracle.

WOW

Is that why Latin America suffers so much? The church has a stronghold on people, indoctrinating them into believing fairy tales, and in those fairy tales condemning the people if they don’t believe in the same fairy tales. Is it strange that more people every day leave the church?

It is time to take a stand against religious dogma and indoctrination. People die everyday as a result of the (catholic, primarily) church.

Graham hospitalized after fall – divine justice?

Posted By Per-Otto Lekare on October 11th, 2008

Evangelist Billy Graham was hospitalized Saturday after tripping and falling over one of his dogs the night before at his home in western North Carolina, a hospital statement said.

Evangelist Billy Graham, pictured in 2005, has suffered a number of physical ailments.

Graham, 89, had discomfort and bruising from the accident Friday night. He was listed in fair condition at Mission Hospital, the facility said in a statement.

“His physicians report that X-rays showed no broken bones,” the statement said.

Doctors evaluated Graham’s condition late Friday, and the Southern Baptist minister chose to stay overnight because of the late hour, the hospital said. “According to his nurses, Mr. Graham had an uneventful night and was able to sleep.”

Graham hopes to return to his home in Montreat later Saturday, the hospital said.

In February, Graham had elective surgery to replace a shunt that maintains normal pressure in his head, the hospital said. The shunt was installed in 2000 to combat symptoms of hydrocephalus, a condition that causes a buildup of fluid on the brain, according to Graham’s Web site.

Graham also has faced prostate cancer and Parkinson’s disease. He underwent hip replacement surgery after fracturing his pelvis in a fall in 2004.

The founder of the Billy Graham Evangelical Association has preached to millions over six decades, and has provided counsel to generations of U.S. presidents, beginning with Harry S. Truman.

He will celebrate his 90th birthday November 7.

Jesus sign causes a stir at school

Posted By Per-Otto Lekare on October 1st, 2008

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Sept. 30 (UPI) — A poster with the headline “Jesus Loves You” put up by a student council president candidate at a Florida elementary school has prompted some criticism.

Lexi Hayward, 11, told WJXT-TV in Jacksonville that she just wants to promote her faith. The poster’s full text is “Jesus Loves You; Lexi For Prez.”

“My friends say it’s cool, and they’ll vote for me and stuff,” Lexi said.

So far, officials at Thunderbolt Elementary School in Fleming Island say they are letting the poster stay up.

“It’s a poster created by a student, not by the school, not by the district,” said Darlene Mahla, a spokeswoman for Clay County. “It doesn’t insult anyone. Again, it’s not inflammatory and it’s not what the law calls school-sponsored speech.”

The school has received at least one anonymous letter from someone who described herself as the mother of a Thunderbolt student. She said that although she is a Christian she finds the poster “scary.”

But most parents waiting outside the school Monday said they have no problems with Lexi’s campaign. One did say she could see some people might find it offensive.

So… is it offensive or not? I find it offensive. If someone would have set up a sign saying “Mohammed loves you, Hamid for Prez” there surely would have been negative reactions. What’s the difference? Religion is religion, whatever belief you have. There is no place in schools for religious superstitions.

The “new” Mexican Humanist Party. BULLSHIT

Posted By Per-Otto Lekare on August 26th, 2007

A few days ago I read in the newspaper about a fraction of the right wing voters forming a new party, called the “humanist party”. I jumped in joy, because I thought I would find a political party that shares my ideas for welfare and economy, but would exclude religion and church…. I was so wrong.

In Mexico, the right wing party, PAN are generally deeply religious. I think that politics and religion don’t go to well together… look at the middle east, look at Israel, look at the US, etc. What the world needs is politicians that set religion aside and work for the benefit of the people, not the clergy – be it catholic, evangelist, jewish, muslim. Unfortunately church (everywhere) has too much power and money, so it will naturally attract powermongers (e.g. politicians).

The Humanist Party then? Looking at their ideas here, one really gets fooled by their smooth talking. But suddenly they start talking about moral and ethics, that people should “act according to the ethics of society, set down in the legislature”…. what the hell is that? Obey the law – good. Act according to the law, because the law automatically sets the ethics rules for people? Not good. They also say that one should respect life. That’s great. Thet say that one should respect life from it’s conception until death. Now that is wacked.

Life starts – in my eyes – when a child is delivered. Not before that. Not after that. It’s fun to see church say that life starts at conception, but a child isn’t part of church until it’s baptized. Meaning, that life starts at baptism. When you go get a driver’s license, they seldom ask for your date of conception. At least, that hasn’t happened to me yet. They ask for your birth date, because common sense tells us that when you are delivered, is when life begins. I believe abortion rights should be taken with much responsibility. Nevertheless, it is ALWAYS a woman’s choice to keep her child or not. The respect for life doesn’t cover the woman? This new party is bullshit. They try to set the woman on a pedestal but at the same time restrict one of her foremost and most primal rights – the rights to her body.

Does the Pope wear a funny hat?

Posted By Per-Otto Lekare on May 9th, 2007

…the answer is obvious.

He said he thinks it’s ok for the Mexican legislators that voted to legalize abortions in Mexico City, to be excommunicated.

Excommunicated, you might ask… what is that? According to [WIKIPEDIA], excommunication means “a religious censure used to deprive or suspend membership in a religious community.”

OK, so someone who voted for women’s right to choose, should not be able to be member of the illustrious catholic community? Cool. Sign me up. Do they excommunicate the priests that sodomize and rape small boys? No. Of course not. A slap on the wrist whenever that happens, and a transfer to another community. In addition, it is the RIGHT of the priests to decide what women should (or shouldn’t) do with their bodies. Since they already decided that women stand lower than men (they can’t be priests in catholic countries), they also mean that women are too stupid to make decisions of their own.

I am amazed people actually believe this bullshit.

Pope: Gay marriage non-negotiable

Posted By Per-Otto Lekare on March 13th, 2007

Here goes that cuckoo again…

According to [CNN], God’s highest representative on Earth, once again said that the Vatican’s stance against gay marriage and abortion are “non-negotiable”. Negotiable to whom?

Let’s for a second think that there is a god. Let’s for another second think that it is a “good” god. Wouldn’t he/she like his followers to be happy? Regardless if they are attracted to a person of the same sex? OK. He doesn’t…

What does he think about the gay priests and lesbian nuns that infest the “celibate” clergy in this world? I guess that’s ok, as long as it isn’t official. He probably even likes the priests that sodomize small boys. Yeah. That’s something a “good” god would accept and let happen.

Abortion: Shouldn’t a woman be able to decide what she wants to do with her body? Without fearing the damnation of hell?

Believing people: open your eyes… IF there is a god, and I say IF: He doesn’t give a flying fuck about you. Never has. Never will. Church is just interested in keeping you on a tight leash to suck your money and control your mind. Let’s face it. Church is the best business ever. Better than all Fortune 500 companies together. Motto: “rule your people by inciting fear in them, that way they will do whatever you like”. Makes me sick to the stomach. And to think I once believed and almost converted to catholicism. WOW.

This must be the best gift ever. NOT

Posted By Per-Otto Lekare on February 12th, 2007

Cool or uncool?

Now, I can’t for my life know what one would like an iBible for. I mean, if one is interested, you can always carry a print version of it. Why spend USD 60.00 (FOB Hong Kong… US Price might be something like USD 110.00) for something that can be had much cheaper? Better to give that money to charity.

The church: preach one thing – live another

Posted By Per-Otto Lekare on February 2nd, 2007

A MAGAZINE report that says priests are not preaching what they are supposed to practise has enraged the Vatican.

L’Espresso reporter Riccardo Bocca says that what some priests tell Catholics in the confessional does not conform to church doctrine.Bocca visited 24 churches in five large Italian cities and confessed sins he’d never committed, or invented ethical dilemmas for the priest.

In one confessional, in Naples, he told the priest he felt guilty over his father’s death after the family allowed a doctor to secretly disconnect a respirator.

Though euthanasia is condemned by the church, he claims the priest told him not to worry too much because God would be the ultimate arbiter.

“If I had a wife, a father or a son who for years was alive only because of artificial life support, I would pull the plug, too,” said the priest, who then gave him absolution.

On homosexuality, one priest allegedly told him: “Well, homosexuality is a tendency which is a valid human expression. There are even homosexual priests and lesbian nuns.”

Apart from abortion, which all 24 priests condemned, he received conflicting advice on issues such as divorce, stem cell research and prostitution.

The author said the article tried to show the difficulties priests face, but the Vatican reacted with vehemence.

The Vatican’s newspaper, l’Osservatore Romano, said the report had profaned the sacrament of penance.

“Shame — there is no other word to express our shock over something that is disgusting, unworthy, disrespectful and particularly offensive,” the newspaper said.

Comment: Isn’t it time the church took a good look at where it stands? The world keeps evolving but they want to stay true to the “word” of more than 2000 years ago. It’s ridiculous… they are going to lose support and in the end alot more if they don’t take a look at their surroundings and act accordingly.

The Pope is completely mad!

Posted By Per-Otto Lekare on January 25th, 2007

Crazy popeVATICAN CITY (Reuters) — Pope Benedict said on Wednesday that the media were “perverse” and harmed children when they exalted violence and trivialized human sexuality in the name of entertainment. The Pope made his comments in a message for the Roman Catholic Church’s World Day of Communications, whose theme this year is “Children and the Media: A Challenge for Education”.While recognizing that many people involved in social communications wanted to do what is right, commercial competitiveness often meant lower standards, he said.“Any trend to produce programs and products — including animated films and video games — which in the name of entertainment exalt violence and portray anti-social behavior or the trivialization of human sexuality is a perversion,” he said.

He said this was “all the more repulsive” when programs were directed at children and adolescents.

“How could one explain this ‘entertainment’ to the countless innocent young people who actually suffer violence, exploitation and abuse?” he said.

Globalization had led to an even more pervasive effect of the media over children and their influence was rivaling those of school, church and home, the Pope said.

“I appeal to the leaders of the media industry to educate and encourage producers to safeguard the common good, to uphold the truth, to protect individual human dignity and promote respect for the needs of the family,” he said.

NOW this is hilarious… I think the most graphic piece of violent media/fiction/entertainment is the Bible itself… Both the Old Testament and the New Testament are littered with extremely violent depictions… Now a quote from the excellent book “The God Delusion” by Richard Dawkins. Please read carefully:

“In the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the Noah equivalent, chosen to be spared with his family because he was uniquely righteous, was Abraham’s nephew Lot. Two male angels were sent to Sodom to warn Lot to leave the city before the brimstone arrived. Lot hospitably welcomed the angels into his house, whereupon all the men of Sodom gathered around and demanded that Lot should hand the angels over so that they could (what else?) sodomize them: ‘Where are the men which came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us, that we may know them’ (Genesis 19: 5).

Bring them out unto us, that we may know them’ (Genesis 19: 5).Yes, ‘know’ has the Authorized Version’s usual euphemistic meaning, which is very funny in the context. Lot’s gallantry in refusing the demand suggests that God might have been onto something when he singled him out as the only good man in Sodom. But Lot’s halo is tarnished by the terms of his refusal: ‘I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof’ (Genesis 19: 7-8).

Whatever else this strange story might mean, it surely tells us something about the respect accorded to women in this intensely religious culture. As it happened, Lot’s bargaining away of his daughters’ virginity proved unnecessary, for the angels succeeded in repelling the marauders by miraculously striking them blind. They then warned Lot to decamp immediately with his family and his animals, because the city was about to be destroyed. The whole household escaped, with the exception of Lot’s unfortunate wife, whom the Lord turned into a pillar of salt because she committed the offence – comparatively mild, one might have thought – of looking over her shoulder at the fireworks display.

Lot’s two daughters make a brief reappearance in the story. After their mother was turned into a pillar of salt, they lived with their father in a cave up a mountain. Starved of male company, they decided to make their father drunk and copulate with him. Lot was beyond noticing when his elder daughter arrived in his bed or when she left, but he was not too drunk to impregnate her. The next night the two daughters agreed it was the younger one’s turn. Again Lot was too drunk to notice, and he impregnated her too (Genesis 19: 31-6). If this dysfunctional family was the best Sodom had to offer by way of morals, some might begin to feel a certain sympathy with God and his judicial brimstone. ”

NEED MORE? Book of Numbers:

31:6 And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.
31:7 And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.
“As the Lord commanded Moses, they slew all the males.”
Did the Israelites kill every male in Midian?
31:8 And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.
31:9 And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods. They took the women and children captives, and burnt all their cities.
31:10 And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire.
31:11 And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.
31:12 And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.
31:13 And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp.
31:14 And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle.
31:15 And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?
31:16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.
31:17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
31:18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

“keep alive for yourselves” – sounds pretty eerie.

“How could one explain this ‘entertainment’ to the countless innocent young people who actually suffer violence, exploitation and abuse?” he said!!! Does he mean countless innocent young people that belong to the catholic church and are exploited and abused on a daily basis in the name of GOD?

I think the Pope is way out of line here… check into your own church first… Get rid of child molesters, then talk about abuse and violence elsewhere.

The GOD Delusion

Posted By Per-Otto Lekare on January 22nd, 2007

Just read a great book by Richard Dawkins called “The God Delusion”. It is basically a book that explains why there can’t be a god. Dawkins is a biologist that believes more in Charles Darwin’s evolutionistic discourse than any religious discourse.

He writes in a pretty funny way (he was friends with Douglas Adams, of Hitchhiker’s Guide-fame) and is actually extremely good at convincing one of god’s non-existence. I recommend it dearly to anyone wanting to take a good, critical look at the way we blindly look at supernatural babble and think it is true. I think I wanted to believe in something before reading this book. Now, common sense tells me I shouldn’t believe in anything supernatural. In some strange way, I kind of feel it has made me more conscious and (perhaps?) a better person. Please read it!
